This is the qualification which all trainers an assessors are required to hold in order to assess nationally recognised training courses.
The course is organised into 4 sections:
- Delivery - How to deliver learning content effectively.
- Assessment - How the national assessment system works and how to assess against training package criteria.
- Design - How to unpack a qualification form a training package and design effective course content based on that framework.
- Language, Literacy and Numeracy - How to include LLN and foundation skills into any vocational course.
There is an ongoing professional development requirement to maintain the currency of this qualification in order to be allowed to assess nationally recognised training. This must involve some level of participation in one or more industries relevant to the courses you are delivering.
